John Whitney, SIOR
Broker of Record, CEO
The Whitney name has been associated with real estate in Waterloo Region since 1911. John Whitney joined the family business in 1975. He studied Planning and Geography at Wilfrid Laurier University and joined WHITNEY & Company after university.
John Whitney has lived in the region all his life and has a passion to make our cities a wonderful place to live and work. The local commercial real estate market started as a rather small group of practicing agents and John takes credit for training and bringing a broad number of new agents into the business.
He was a founding member of Communitech and served as Chairman for 10 years. During his tenure as Chairman, the Prosperity Council was formed. John was also a founding member of Canada’s Technology Triangle (CTT), now known as the Waterloo EDC.

Alisha Morel
Managing Partner, COO
As a Managing Partner, Alisha leads the operational and financial strategy of Whitney & Company Realty. Focusing on driving sustainable growth and expanding the brokerage’s presence in key markets in Southwestern Ontario, she utilizes strategic planning and organizational agility, to ensure long-term resilience in a competitive industry.

With a background rooted in competitive sports, Michael Lambert represented Canada in two Olympic Games, which helped him develop an exceptional ability to perform under pressure. That same discipline, resilience and strategic mindset that defined his athletic career, now drives his leadership in commercial real estate.
As President of Whitney & Company Realty, Michael navigates complex negotiations and identifies strategic opportunities for his clients, all while leading a team of highly skilled sales professionals. His specialization in Capital Markets, Portfolio Management, Land Development, and Industrial Acquisitions, Dispositions and Leasing, provides clients with a competitive edge in an evolving market.
Beyond transactions, Michael is a member of SIOR (Society of Industrial and Office Realtors), a prestigious network of top-tier industrial and office brokerage professionals. Through this affiliation, he leverages industry-leading insights, resources and connections.
